Rufus Christmas knees-up!
Wow! What a Christmas knees-up we had on Friday evening. We really enjoyed catching up with clients, suppliers, friends and family for a festive beverage and a boogie.
We had X-Box, Wii games and pool tournaments, as well as prize giveaways. Guests could guess the name of the ‘Rufus Reindeer’ and enter a prize draw to win iPod Shuffles. We raised over £50 (hey, every penny counts!), which will go to our favoured charity ‘Cash for Kids’. Congratulations to Joanne Spencer from David Spencer Limited who guessed right, his name is ‘Ned’!
Well done to Allison Williams from Riveredge who won our champagne prize draw, and a big round of applause go to Sarah Stokoe who found a £250 design voucher in her chocolate bar… she gave it to her boyfriend, Ian Kitching from IG Muscle (ahh bless!) so for her generosity we gave her a bottle of champagne.
Congratulations go to Pamela Poiksalo, an MA design, multimedia and graphics student from the University of Sunderland who also won an iPod Shuffle – rock on!
Guests devoured our orange luxury chocolates, which were kindly supplied by ‘Helen Hendry, artist in chocolatier’. Needless to say they went down a treat… mmm! Thanks Helen and Malcolm.
