You Mayor, May Not, Go to the Ball!
The Mayors Ball was held on 20th November at Crowtree Leisure Centre. With an Eqyptian theme, some of the displays and the top table graphics were created here at Rufus. The night was set to be very interesting indeed!
Stavros Flatly, famous from ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, made an appearance and danced his way around the hall, to be joined by Sunderland Council’s Colin Ranson, which only added to the atmosphere and made the night a memorable one.
The event was held to raise money for charity. Rufus donated a signed canvas of Tony Jeffries to be sold off at the auction held on the night.
