Rufus helps with Sunderland 2018 World Cup host city bid

We were asked by Sunderland AFC and Sunderland City Council to produce a brand for the campaign, ranging from the logo design, website design, pop up stands, pull up displays, stationery, t-shirts, flags, banners and other materials, in order for Sunderland to have a solid base for the bid to be launched.

By visiting www.england2018bid.com/support/register.aspx and selecting 'Sunderland' as preferred host city, members of the public can show The FA that they want Sunderland to host matches in the World Cup in 2018.

Sunderland Summer "Fire & Ice" Ball

Our good selves designed and printed all the materials for the "Fire & Ice" Ball at the Stadium of Light on the 9th May 2009. The Fire and Ice Ball (sponsored by MacMillan Cancer Support and the SAFC Foundation) is one of the highlights on the city's calendar and we were very kindly given a table which we used to not only wine and dine our staff but also some of our clients. It was a black tie affair, so we were looking swish as per usual... (cough cough).

University of Sunderland Design Degree Show

On the 26th of June, Sunderland University held their annual Graduate Degree Show at the university's design centre galleries. This year, Rufus were asked to produce over 100 format display panels which featured students' projects. The standard of work was exceptional and is already receiving national acclaim from events like New Blood and D&AD.

Of course, our two most infamous socialites Gareth and Graeme attended and helped themselves to nibbles and drinks whilst mingling with staff, students and friends.

We've just launched a brand new Vintage Glamour Cars website. They provide beautifully restored classic English saloon cars for special occasions which include weddings, engagements, anniversaries, prom nights, birthdays and sporting events.

IPS Annual Coast 2 Coast Challenge

At the end of May, nine of the IPS team headed west to Whitehaven in Cumbria to start the 150 mile cycle ride back to Sunderland. This year the team supported WaterAid, who provide relief to some of the world's poorest people. The weekend was thoroughly enjoyed by all, although extra seat cushions were needed for their return to work. The IPS team would like to thank everyone who supported them.
