Search Engine Optimisation

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is all about making sure your website can be found amongst the billions of websites there are on the World Wide Web today.

Every effort should be made to ensure your products and services can be found on your website via search engines. SEO should be carried out on a regular basis to monitor competitors and ensure rankings are maintained or improved upon.

An SEO plan

We recommend an initial optimisation plan, which would involve:

  • Research and implementation of keywords/phrases to increase site ranking
  • Optimisation of meta tags including title, description and keywords per page
  • Implementation of correct SEO friendly HTML code and consideration of accessibility and usability (HTML and CSS validation, including the use of header tags)
  • Image ALT tag optimisation
  • Submission of web site to the leading/local search engine
  • Google sitemap integration

Followed by an optimisation plan involving:

  • Further research/competitor analysis and implementation of keywords/phrases
  • Review of meta tags including title, description and keywords per page
  • Review of SEO friendly HTML code and consideration of accessibility and usability (HTML and CSS validation, including the use of header tags)
  • Re-submission of website to the leading/local search engine
  • Google sitemap update

If a more specific plan is required, such as the use of Cost per Click (CPC) Advertising then this can be added to the SEO plan. Examples of CPC Advertising include the popular Google Adwords.

The Benefits of SEO

  • Customers and potential customers can find you more easily
  • Your brand will be more visible the higher it appears up the search engine rankings
  • Searches are driven by demand, therefore having the right keywords directs the customer to you with little effort
